Governer's
Program On Abstinence
An education program on abstinence
was established in 1996 by the United States Congress. Each state receives
50 million dollars per year for five years, however, Louisiana is the
only state to have a Governor's program.
The GPA Club is working hard to teach an abstinence cirriculum in all
Louisiana junior high schools. This program is also working to establich
GPA Clubs in all LA high schools.
You do not have to be a virgin to join this club. Upon joining this
club you will receive a pledge card that simply shows your promise to
remain abstinent "from this day forth".
Dues for this club are only five dollars a year.
