FIFTIETH CLASS REUNION BHS
1956 Graduates and Classmates Dear Classmates: Believe it or not a half-century has suddenly passed us by! Where in the world has the time and the years gone? As impossible as it seems it is now time that the call goes out for the gathering of Classmates to celebrate our Golden Anniversary!!! A very small committee of volunteers had an initial meeting and got the ball rolling. A couple of classmates have been calling people for about 2 months locating addresses and phone numbers. We still need addresses and phone numbers for Nell Alphin, Ralph Hewes, George Lee, Marie Talley, and George Scherer. If you know the whereabouts of any of the above classmates please give us a shout. Our initial plans are for a “sign-in” cocktail party at the home of Georgia and Don Spiers at 1725 Gaylord Drive on Friday Night with the reunion full festivities on Saturday evening at the Old American Legion Home. Both functions will commence at 7 PM. The committee decided on a fee of $60 per person for the two nights of merriment. The dates chosen for the events will be September 1 and 2 (Labor Day Weekend). So mark you calendars gas up you car and make your plans to be in Bogalusa to gather with ole friends and Classmates. Please fill out the survey form and get it back to us at the above address as soon as possible as there are a lot of plans still to be made.
